FAQ

Q: How many of your items are made in Vermont?

A: About 95% of our products are made in Vermont by small entrepreneurial businesses. Vermont businesses are known for their creativity, high quality products and ethical business practices. Support hard-working Vermonters who care about providing you with a well-made, small batch manufactured products produced with integrity and pride.

Q: What is the sales tax in Vermont?

A: 6% on non-food and non-clothing items

Q: Does Vermont Marketplace – the brick and mortar store at 19 Main Street in Bristol – have more items than what is listed online?

A: Oh yes, we have lots more in our actual store. We have more of everything you can find online and categories not represented online at all, such as cheeses, pickles, skin care products, wool throws, wooden bowls and other products, Danforth Pewter, hand-blown glass, bird houses, Maple Landmark products, socks, vintage-looking signs with Vermont themes, cards, and so much more. Call us (802-453-4069), if you are looking for something in particular.

Q: Do you offer curbside pick-up?

A: As long as our store is closed to the general public, we will offer curbside pick-up. We will contact you when your order is ready and arrange a time that is convenient for you to do a hands-free transfer.

Q: Do you offer delivery service?

A: Yes, for the time being, we will offer free delivery service on purchases of $25 or more within a 5 mile radius from our store in downtown Bristol. We will either deliver to the buyer or to the recipient of the care package or other items.

Q: Why do I have to enter my address during online Checkout?

A: Our secure online Checkout requires that you add your address, even if your order is not being shipped (i.e. pick-up at store). This address is used to verify your payment and prevent fraud. We do not give out your personal information.
